The Us State Department Sent A Document To The Allies Saying That China Is Ready To Provide Russia With Military Help - Media - Latests News October 3, 2022 1

The US State Department sent a document to allies saying that China is ready to provide Russia with military assistance in conducting a “special operation” in Ukraine. It is reported by The Financial Times with reference to American diplomats. The Financial Times wrote about the corresponding Russian request on Sunday, March 13. Whether China is going to help the ally in the future or is already providing military support, the document sent to the allies did not specify. US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan plans to discuss the issue at a meeting with Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Yang Jiechi in Rome on March 14. Sullivan noted that he would warn the Chinese not to try to “bail out” Russia, including helping it cope with Western sanctions. “We have seen China basically tacitly approve of what Russia is doing, refusing to join the sanctions, blaming the West and the United States for the assistance we are giving Ukraine, and saying that they would like to see a peaceful outcome, but in fact nothing doing to achieve it,” Sullivan said, adding that China could also face sanctions if it supports its ally. The Chinese embassy in the United States said they were not aware of requests for assistance. A similar reaction followed from Russia. In March 2022, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a joint statement in Beijing that describes their partnership as “limitless”. The Russian “special operation” on the territory of Ukraine is justified in the Chinese media. In particular, there is an unfounded accusation of Russia, according to which the United States helped Ukraine build laboratories for biological weapons. #WorldNews #Russia #China #Ukraine #StateDepartmentUSA #conflictInUkraine #NB #Bishkek news #Kyrgyzstan news
